President's Message 2010

Mandy Fleming ~ 2010 President
"Serving Today, for a Better Tomorrow"
First of all, I am honored and excited to begin 2010 as your President.  Thanks for allowing me to serve you in this position!  I look forward to working with each of you, and I encourage you all to work together in service!
Our motto for the year is, "Serving Today, for a Better Tomorrow."  Think about it.  What are you doing today to sustain your family and yourself into the future?  What can we do as MAJWC to make better tomorrows for our community?  Our special project will give us the opportunity to make a difference.

Special Project

LifeSpan ~ Adult Services & Circle Schools
For our special project in 2010, we will sponsor LifeSpan Services, and support them in their daily efforts to create better tomorrows for the clients they serve.  LifeSpan clients include children and adults with developmental disabilities, and LifeSpan works with them to have equal opportunities in education and employment.  There are many needs within this organization that we can assist with and ways that each of our departments can get involved.  Throughout the year, I ask that each of you give your time, talents, resources, and support to the efforts I lead for this organization.  I know you will be rewarded for doing so!

2010 Yearbook Dedication

The 2010 edition of the Mount Airy Junior Women's Club Yearbook is dedicated to .... YOU!  I would like to honor all of the clubwomen who have come before me and all of you current members.  To our past presidents, I thank you for paving the way for me to step in and assume the position myself, and do my best to lead this club to yet another successful year.  Juniors, I salute all of you for the hard work and service that you so unconditionally give, and I am proud to lead you into 2010.  YOU are MAJWC! To the best we can be - 2010 is dedicated to you!

Junior Pledge

I pledge my loyalty to the Junior Clubwoman
by doing better than ever before what work I have to do;
by being prompt, honest, courteous; by living each day,
trying to accomplish something; not merely to exist.
